About Me.

I began my journey with Serenity as a Community Support Worker, where I developed a genuine understanding of the organisation’s core values and ethos. During this time, I worked closely with individuals and families, supporting them in achieving their personal goals and promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing.

This hands-on experience allowed me to witness first hand the positive impact of person-centred care and the importance of empathy, communication, and consistency in building trust and fostering meaningful relationships. It also deepened my appreciation for Serenity’s commitment to delivering high-quality support and creating inclusive environments where every individual feels valued and empowered.

Through continuous learning and the incredible support and opportunities provided by Serenity, I transitioned into a finance role and eventually progressed into my current leadership position. This journey has been both challenging and rewarding, allowing me to develop a strong understanding of the organisation from multiple perspectives. The guidance and encouragement I received from mentors and colleagues played a crucial role in my professional growth, empowering me to take on new responsibilities with confidence.
